Badges
Access to all scientific events and to the exhibittion is only possible with your personal badge, which you will recieve upon registration. All participants are requested to wear their name badge throughout the conference. € 15 will be charged for replacement of a lost badge. Onsite changes on name badges due to incorrect submission of name and/or addresses will be charged at € 10.
Cloakroom
A cloakroom is available free of charge on the 1st floor of Forum Hall foyer (PCC).
Credit cards / Cash machines
Credit cards are widely accepted in Prague by numerous hotels, restaurants, shops and petrol stations. If and which credit cards are accepted is indicated by the logos displayed on the exterior facade of the respective business (usually on the entrance door). Cash machines are generally available in most areas. Closest cash machine is available directly in the Prague Congress Centre building (Komercni banka a.s.).
Currency/Exchange
The Czech currency is called the Czech crown (1 crown = 100 halers). In circulation is in the form of banknotes of the following value: 5,000, 2,000, 1,000, 500, 200, 100 and 50 crowns and coins of the following value: 50, 20, 10, 5, 2, 1 crowns and 50 halers.
Exchange offices are located all around the city centre (exchnage offices, banks, post offices).

Electricity
Electricity used in Czech Republic is 220 Volts; standard European system of round pins with two holes. Plan to bring a transformer for your electrical or electronic equipment using different voltage (ie. USA, Canada).
Healthcare
When travelling around the Czech Republic you might need medical assistance. You can be sure you will be treated with high European standards. In the country has 216 hospitals and every 10 000 inhabitants are catered for by 108 hospital beds (67 beds for patiens with terminal diseases). In Prague itself there are 11 hospitals (including a psychiatric clinic and rehabilitation centre) out of which all are capable of providing you qualified and professional medical aid. However, we strongly recommend to arrange travel insurance before leaving your country. The Prague Congress Centre is able to provide permanent medical assisstance on request covering the whole length of an event taking place. In case of health problems, congress participants will recieve medical treatment at once and if required will be transported to hospital immediately.
Insurance and Liability
The Organizers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to Conference participants, either during or as a result of the Congress or during all tours and events. Participants are strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage and trip cancellation.
Official Italian Agency
The Organisers have chosen PANDANI VIAGGI S.R.L., Milan, to collect, on our behalf, all applications from Italian pharmaceutical companies and to file them with the appropriate Italian Health Ministry officials.

Official letters of Invitation
Should you require an official letter of invitation to obtain your visa to enter Czech Republic, please contact the Conference office. Please note, however, that the Organisers do not undertake any obligation to pay any expenses incurred by supplying these letters. Furthermore, for some countries, a confirmation of registration with payment may be asked by the authorities.
Passports and Visas
Every person entering Czech Republic should be in possession of a valid passport. Some countries require a visa. Please contact your nearest Czech Embassy or Consulate for further information or visit the website of Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Safety
Prague is among the most popular destinations in the world. Statistics show that when compared to other major European cities like Paris, Rome or Madrid the rate of crime is much lower in Prague. A night walk around the city is relatively safe but, of course, like in all other big cities with a high cumulation of people we recommend handling your personal belongings with utmost care.
Temperature
Prague is a city with a mixture of oceanic and continental weather, average summer temperature is 20 degrees C.
Time difference
The Czech Republic is in Central European Time Zone. Central European Time (CET) is 1 hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+1). After last Sunday in March the time in the Czech Republic is shifted back by 1 hour to Central European Time and this lasts until the end of September
